The home has seen several families reside within its walls, its most recent residents engaging Briswest Renovations to appeal to the original charm of the home while creating two functional spaces. They are now inviting spaces, and the results are nothing short of impressive.
The main bathroom, featuring a shower-over-bath configuration, perfectly blends modern convenience with the classic Queenslander style. By reconfiguring the entry door in the ensuite, the Briswest Renovations team were able to create a larger, more open space that feels light and airy, embodying the essence of a beautiful bathroom renovation.
Pete and the team wanted to maintain nods to the classic Queenslander style, by selecting natural stone-look tiles paired with variable-sized subway tiles for the feature walls. Soft grey grout was used to emphasize the hand-cut feel of the tiles, adding a subtle touch of elegance that complements the overall design.
One of the standout features in these bathrooms is the Phoenix Cromford range of tapware. The twin shower setup in the main bathroom not only adds functionality but also brings a touch of softness and prettiness to the space. By opting for a brushed nickel finish, the bathrooms exude a modern yet timeless appeal, stepping away from the more traditional chrome finishes.
The design further embraces the classic Queenslander style with arch shaver cabinets and round above-counter basins. In the main bathroom, vintage-inspired wall lights flanking the mirror add a subtle, classic touch. Meanwhile, in the ensuite, a pendant light hanging over the vanity introduces a bit of drama, making the space feel both stylish and welcoming.
