New clients, Mark and Lisa, engaged Briswest Renovations to quote their two bathroom spaces.

They purchased their home the year before, and were keen to renovate looking for light and space.

The bath and shower in the main bathroom was separated from the vanity and toilet. This added further privacy and openness to the room. The well thought layout was from the original build was good and thus retained.

To give the feel of a freestanding bath, the old drop in bath was replaced with a corner bath. Much to our clients’ delight, further sorted by the curve at one end.

The room felt paired back without compromising style by using matching tiles on both the floor and walls. The 600mm x 600mm floor tile was used on the floor, with the 300mm x 600mm on the walls to add further softness. We achieved a modernised look by using stacked format tiles. Chrome tapware lifted the space.

Vanities in both ensuite and main bathroom were matte white finger pull style, and wall hung giving a greater feeling of space. Semi-inset round basins nestled into the vanities, with circular shape repetition used on face level mirrors.

As both vanity areas were limited on natural light, so the backlit mirrors were a great approach to omit this concern. Style and design was highlighted in the vanity spaces with a feature subway tile in a moss grey. Laying them in a vertical stacked format gave the extra feeling of height to the areas.

Our clients love their new bathrooms!

Kind Words

Pete and his team renovated our two bathrooms in August 2021 and we were so happy with the outcome that we didn’t even consider looking elsewhere when it came to completely redesigning our kitchen the following year. Rebecca’s talent for design and colour choices that complemented the overall style of our home was invaluable and the trade team’s quality workmanship delivered both projects on budget and to a high standard. We are so happy with the results and Pete’s communication and committment to the best outcome at all times.

Our favourite part of the bathroom project is the much-improved design of two quite small and tricky spaces that now look spacious and calming. What we love most about our new kitchen, besides the hugely-improved design and expanded workspace, are the delightful solid glass bauble pendants that sparkle like floating bubbles above the kitchen island. A close second is the tiled splashback, meticulously installed by Sandy, of hand-cut jade tiles selected by Rebecca.

Thanks team Briswest Renovations!
